The Night Before Christmas.

Last night while walking home from the studio i discovered that since walking that same route the night before Queen street had been decorated in Christmas kitsch. Snow flakes and sequin clad angles, cardboard cutouts of bells and Christmas trees, tinsel and baubles in shop windows and hung from street lights. I am happy to announce that bad taste and opulence are back in season. Blow the dust from your Christmas tree and start on that red knit jumper with the picture of Rudolf on the front, its only 41 sleeps till Christmas.

MyFace, Spacebook or Something Else

Just to be really meta, i thought i might once again blog about blogging.

I find since starting this Tumblelog i browse the net with a little more purpose. Or at very lest an alter perspective. I find my self thinking “how would that fit on bloggedbybjorn.com?”. I expect that this is largely due to my infatuation with creating something new. At his point in time, this space is my latest pursuit, my latest experiment. However, i can’t recall feeling the same way about my last blog which I attribute to the ownership i feel over this space. Complete with a style which matched my other sites and a top-level domain name.

Perhaps MySpace was onto something, they did after all have personality. Let’s call it … good idea, poor execution.

Rotten Fruit Revisited

To be fair I did have a few G3s stacked in a cupboard for a while, since they rarely worked properly. Despite that, I sincerely believe that OSX offers the finest working environment currently available. Base on my experience with a dual processor G5 I used daily while with my previous firm, Panther era I believe. Every now and again I will trouble shoot macbooks for friends and in the studio (I find it intresting that they come to me), its stunning how straight forward it can be. I look forward to leopard which I hope to see when three of my colleagues receive their macbook pros this week.

However, if you are looking for a truly creative platform and you can handle anti-PC-isum in the studio/office. find your self a TabletPC.
